We are careful about the things we eat. Then why not with the utensils we cook in?
Clay cookware is one of the best to cook food. It actually benefits your health.
How long do we have to use the usual cookware for cooking purposes? Time to
move on to Clay cookware! You might have seen a few 5-star/7-star hotels using
Clay utensils. You can make delicious Fish curry, Dal, or any other curry in it. Clay
pots are alkaline in nature. Acidic food cooked in a clay pot neutralizes the pH balance
of food by interacting with the acid present in the food. Acids in food like tomatoes when
cooked in a clay pot give the food a wonderful taste.A clay pot is perfect for milk, boiling
milk gives a fabulous robust aroma and taste...
INSTRUCTIONS TO USE Soak the new clay
cookware in water for one hour before the first use, second time on-wards soak it in water
for 10 minutes. During soaking, the pot absorbs the water in its pores. As the pot gets heated,
the absorbed water evaporates as steam, which gently cooks the food. This prevents food from
drying out. Natural juices and flavors are retained in the pot while nutrients and vitamins are preserved.
Before every use, make sure that you rinse the pot and allow the water to drain As clay cookware is
getting heated faster than other cookware, slow cooking (low flame) is the best method.
Expose to gradual raise in temperature Avoid adding cold water when the pot is hot Before wash,
soak the pot for a few minutes in warm water. Hand washes the pot with a light detergent.
Ensure that the detergent is washed away immediately. Detergent might get absorbed into the
pores and get contaminated If you've accidentally overcooked or burned food, pour some warm water in the pot,
sprinkle baking soda, and let it sit for 10 minutes, scrub it slowly
